about

It’s been 4 long years, but finally Moloken from Umeå Sweden is ready to release their new album called All Is Left To See. With it they can finally present what they have been working on, a lyrical concept called 'Mörkrets Kärna': An album-trilogy about falling down in a pit of your darkest being, losing yourself completely and desperately trying to make sense of it, you drag your loved ones down with you.

This is a self-lived experience of true human darkness when the breakdown of a loved one spiralled down a very dark path, acting out in an aggressive, depressed, paranoid and manipulative behaviour. Could this be the end? All is left to see...

The album showcases the band's most experimental album yet. Moloken clearly has no intention of being trapped in any corner of genre-fascism, but rather working with a "anything goes" attitude, which is a fresh breeze in an otherwise stale metal scene. All Is Left To See was mostly recorded live at the famous Tonteknik Studio in their home town UmeÂ, and has an atmosphere and sound that reminds of their first album Our Astral Circle (2009). However, they're not interested of walking in old shoes; as always they've expanded their musical universe by adding new layers, elements and twists, this time to set a tone to the dark and bleak lyrics of the Mörkrets Kärna concept. And this, is just the beginning.

To truly engage in a new Moloken album is always diving in head first. You never know quite what lies ahead, but itís worth the risk.

Produced by Kristoffer Bäckström (Moloken)
Recorded and mixed by Pelle Henriksson at Tonteknik Umeå Sweden
Mastered by Sven Engdahl (Borglab Studio)

Track Name: Subliminal Hymns
Surrender to yourself
Embrace the I
Experience the power
All is left to see
Track Name: All Is Left To See
I am dying here
but you only just now smelled
The burned heart that I carry.
So trapped in yourself

Are you even aware
Of the world outside your head?

You have awoken, only to be fully conscious
And it has taken its toll on you
Shedding your skin, cleansing your mind.
Your past truth and self are no longer the reality
It seems almost fiction, right?

Heading out and exploring the world without blindfold,
It's a painful path, but it's the only path
And now you can never go back.
Track Name: Burst
The fatalistic pride’s festering into pain
Of shedding another skin
Track Name: Seventh Circle
These plains I’ve passed
Along green pastures
Sheltered by cowering heights
They are of my home no more
Left along with all my troubles behind
And a reality of poor design
I steer into a trodden path

I’ve taken to the waters
The sea has no memory
But forgiveness unto self
To enter the darkness from whence I came

There’s a storm coming
No shore in sight
Beneath the merciless sun
I’ve spent my last sip
And harnessed all the savings

There’s a storm coming
And Hell follows in its wake
My vessel capsized
Waves comes rolling
And all is set loose
Beneath a raging light
Into the darkness from whence I came
Track Name: I Dig Deeper
Exploring the inner dark,
Feeding on the black materia
Of the subconscious shades, this is hell

And I am hostile

Face to face with the black adrenaline
That feeds of repressed thoughts and fear
In so deep, all i see is the unseen

And I am forgotten

Shall we leave what we dont know,
And let ignorance prevail?
Or shall we face our demons and surrender to complexity

I have been to hell and back
Exposing the shades that are no longer for the subconscious
I have let the adrenaline of repression flow in my veins and I’ve stared at the unseen

I am
